German Masters 2015

The most international competition in Germany has been moved to the Capital city of Berlin!

Berlin is a fantastic, vibrant and historical destination, easy to reach by plane, train or car. The city has the biggest and most active backgammon community in Germany.

The Victor’s Residenz Hotel**** is centrally located, in Berlin’s new “Mitte”-district, close to Alexanderplatz and the historical buildings. Public transportation will take you quickly anywhere for sightseeing and/or other activities.

The GERMAN MASTERS is part of the prestigious WBA circuit in 2015. Every match of the Elite Group will count for the WBA Point Race, and for the German National Ranking.

2 Divisions will be available and various side-events are lined up (DMP-Challenge, Doubles, Mini-Jackpots). WBA’s computerized T-Swiss System (triple elimination + Ultimate Fight) will be played in both main divisions.

Events and Fees:

Elite Group: 380 € entry + 70 € registration / optional side-pool 150 € (95% return) / 9 point matches, T-Swiss Format, clock mandatory

Leisure Group: 150 € entry + 50 € registration / optional side-pool 50 € (90% return) / 7 points matches, T-Swiss Format, clock preference

Doubles: 250 € per team (80% return), 7 points, single elimination, clocked

SpeedGammon: 25 € (80% return), re-entries allowed, 5 points, time setting: 2 min. total bank time + 10 sec. per move

Mini-Jackpots (4 players): 25 €, 50 €, 100 € available during all weekend.
